September, the month of spring and youth at the New Horizon School. Like every year at the New Horizon Methodist school, we celebrate the arrival of spring with lots of enthusiasm. Our school is filled with colors and happiness. We give thanks, glory and honor to our loving God because this year we could celebrate all our activities in person which is a great and special blessing! The students from 1st to 6th Grade, held a beautiful spring parade and gave cheerful artistic presentations to welcome the spring season.
The students from 7th Grade and up (high school) had their special party for “Youth Day” – a fun day of competitions divided by grades and colors. It was a time of great joy and fellowship since they were able to be all together after a long time of separation due to the Pandemic. The activities started off with Word time: “Special time with God.”
The theme was “Young Influencers” where the students were motivated to be light and a positive influence in their environment. After that, they had their snacks and then ended the day with competitions and fellowship. They also had a painting competence called “Let’s paint our beautiful Asuncion.” Afterwards they had an awards ceremony for the best painting! We praise and thank the Lord for His protection and guidance at all times and also for His provision and faithfulness. *All the activities carried out by the institution are available on our Facebook page Escuela Metodista Nuevo Horizonte.
