Coffee Fundraiser Benefiting the Hogar del Nino Orphanage

This year we Samaritan Hands is hosting our 4th annual “Coffee for Children” fundraiser benefiting the Hogar del Nino Orphanage and we would love to have you and your friends and family join us. Tickets will be available at the event door. We also have a Facebook event where you can find more information, RSVP and share the event on social media. We have an options for donating online at SamaritanHands.org/donate for those who cannot attend but would still like to help support the general operating fund to run the orphanage.

Coffee for Children
Tuesday, 2/11/20 at Vienna Coffeehouse from 6-8 PM
Tickets are $10 and includes a coffee/tea/drink or food item.
We will have live music, info about Samaritan Hands and opportunities for tax-deductible sponsorships.
Tickets will be available at Fairview UMC on Sundays 2/2 and 2/9 as well as at the event door.

We are working hard on planning for our 2020 teams and trips. Below is a list of the tentative teams and trips for this year. Spaces are limited on each team and spots are reserved by submitting a 50% drop deposit in order to purchase tickets. If joining after a trip deadline, you will be responsible for the trip cost plus the fare difference. *Please note that all dates are subject to change.

January 2020 – Maryville Christian Seniors to Guatemala

March 2020 – FUMC Youth to Costa Rica

May 2020 – Medical Team to Guatemala (May 30-June 6)

June 2020 – VBS/Construction Team to Guatemala (June 27-July 4)

August/September 2020 – Zimbabwe

October 2020 – Resurrection Servant Leadership Team to Costa Rica

End of The Year Giving and Giving Statements

In December and January we often get questions about End of the Year Giving. You can donate in multiple ways to any of our ministries. We thank you for your donations – they are what allows us to make a difference in lives all around the world.

  1. By mail/check. Please make your check out to Samaritan Hands and mail it to:

Please indicate the ministry you are donating to in the memo (i.e. Guatemala Orphanage, Ishe Anesu (Africa), Paraguay Schools (please include your student’s number)).

2. Online at SamaritanHands.org/donate

You can set up a one time gift or recurring gifts (weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly). Please ensure you choose your “Purpose” for the donation and add any notes necessary in the space provided. Donations can be made using a credit card, savings or checking account.

All donations must be made and postmarked by December 31, 2019 to be included in your 2019 Giving Statement. Giving Statements will be mailed out no later than the end of January 2020.
