Haiti

In January, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti leavings buildings and lives in ruin. With more than 200,000 deaths, and even more injured, over a million Haitians were left homeless. Samaritan Hands teamed with Reach Haiti in 2011 to provide their orphanage with clean water and help with construction of their new facilities. We are also furnishing a well at a prison for inmates where a cholera outbreak took place. The mission trips we take there involve relational ministry, construction, medical and Vacation Bible School.
